Born and raised in Dublin Ireland now residing in Sydney Australia. We are experienced performers in the Irish music Pub/Club scene in Sydney. Instruments include Guitar, Irish Tenor Banjo, Mandolin, Bodhran (Irish drum) and whatever Alan decides to bring along from his collection of instruments. Our repertoire covers traditional Irish dance music and song + gems from Country/Bluegrass and Blues. Artists such as, The Dubliners, The Fureys, Christy Moore, Shane McGowan, Mary Black, Gram Parsons. The Waterboys. We gave ourselves the name - Irish Hooley - as we hope the name suggests we deliver a party style atmosphere with lots of uplifting songs and music. If the Irish are having a Hooley they are having a gathering of friends to celebrate a happy occasion or even life itself. We want everyone to have a smile on their face and sing or tap along to the music. Recent performances include, PJ Gallagher’s Irish pubs in the Sydney area including Leichhardt and The CBD. |
