Transmission is a classy and fresh jazz/funk and soul band based in Sydney. Consisting of up to 10 members, the line up includes three singers, (two femaile, one male), trumpet, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, bass guitar, keyboards, guitar and drums. Transmission plays a variety of music which is very well suited to corporate, and private functions requiring a versatile and entertaining band. For quite settings, Transmission plays excellent sets of smooth jazz tunes, as background or feature music. Yet is equally adept at raising the tempo to play a variety of hot funk and soul numbers designed to keep the dance floor pumping all night.
