Formerly on staff in the Jazz Dept. of NSW Conservatorium Toohey was also director of the Academy Of The Guitar in Sydney. Leaving academia Toohey has melded his diverse musical influences to create a style as unique and contemporary as that of the extraordinary Tommy Emmanuel.
