Artist Description

Lucinda Peters has a voice of starry substance. Accompanying herself on the double bass she has an original approach to well-known jazz reportoire as well as her own material, creating an ambience with class. She produces quality vocal music in the jazz style ranging from early Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf, Sarah Vaughan, Duke Ellington and other jazz greats. As a soloist she has entertained at numerous large corporate events as well as for intimate private parties and weddings. She also performs regularly at various venues in Sydney. Most recently she has appeared at the Pavilion On The Park along with Don Burrows and Kevin Hunt as a part of their recent successful Jazz Series. Lucinda also comes in the form of jazz trio, duo or quartet adding guitar, drums, flute and/or piano to her act. Lucinda can play with various combinations of a duo,trio or a quartet made up of Sydneys leading Jazz musicians.
