Leonie performs with an elegance and style reminiscent of the old-style torch singers. Her versatility allows for changes in ambience and tempo, spanning a large repertoire of popular jazz standards, for easy listening or Swing Dance music.
Leonie has 12 years experience working in Jazz Clubs, such as Soup Plus and the Basement, restaurants, cafe's and function centers, such as the Fairmont Resort, and Elizabeth Bay House, for corporate events and weddings. Residencies include Cafe Bruce Lane Cove, Fisherman's Lodge Watson's Bay, and Sundays at the Rocks Markets.
In 1994-96 she joined the 'MO Award' winning 'Andrew Sisters Sisters'. Playing clubs, function centers, the Opera House, Entertainment Center and many other venues.
The musicians she employs play regularly with her, and are well known with in the Sydney jazz scene, all being highly accomplished musicians.
