Jenny Sheard is a Sydney-born jazz pianist and singer who has lived and performed in Australia, New York, Paris, France, Italy, Germany, Holland and Switzerland. In her additional occupation as a freelance food and travel writer, Jenny contributes to major Australian publications and is also a regular food columnist for the Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Weekend.
The Jenny Sheard Trio/Quartet plays and sings a repertoire that ranges from be-bob to Latin, elegant laid-back ballads and standards. The group has recorded the albums Satin Doll and November Girl and has appeared in concert with The Dave Brubeck Quartet and French violinist Stephane Grappelli. Venues and television appearances include: The Don Burrow’s Supper Club (The Regent Hotel); The Festival of Sydney; The Michael Parkinson Show; ABC Jazz.
