Emanuel’s innovative ensembles (usually quartet, guitar/saxophone/double bass/drums) perform in the jazz, blues, latin, pop/rock, and R&B styles at festivals, clubs, cafés and restaurants (including Centrepoint, The All Seasons Premier Menzies Hotel, and the 1853 Restaurant), corporate clients (including SEDA, Deutsche Bank, IBM, AMP, British Airways, and Uniting Care Burnside), weddings and various public concerts.
Contributing musicians have included Con Campbell, Kristen Cornwell, Dave Goodman, Toby Hall, Mark Lau, Richard Maegraith, Spike Mason, Bill Risby, Phil Scorgie, Ian Shanahan, Craig Simon, and Alister Spence. Previous residencies: The All Seasons Premier Menzies Hotel, Mancini’s, and the 1853 Restaurant. In November 2000, Emanuel’s quartet performed his original works at the EIGHT O’CLOCK SHARP: Jazz In The Round series.
