The Cardinal Groove is a great upcoming band that has been together for over a year. All suave, young professional musicians with plenty of experience they guarantee to set the right mood for any occasion. The Cardinal Groove are a passionate bunch who love music, love entertaining people and are eager to play for you. They are usually a seven piece band but if necessary can break it down to a four, five, or six piece and still sound great. Also, Vern (guitarist) and Zoe (singer) offer a duo with a more intimate set of songs. With a keen sense of what is crowd pleasing as well as good quality music, these talented young musicians have chosen a fantastic bunch of songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s that are guaranteed to get you "up on offa that thang!". Their styles range from old school R&B, Funk, Blues, Soul and Jazz, taking influence from an authentic Motown sound, with a smooth, funky groove, and a lot of soul in everything they play.
